Well....it is official. Shelbey is now a FRESHMAN in highschool. Oh my goodness! I cannot believe she is now going to face spirit weeks, football games, prom, highschool drama, keeping track of credits, homecoming, and eventually graduation. I know from experience that these years go by so fast, and from what I hear they will go by even faster now. I thought I was ready for this, but the more I think about it, the more I find myself sad about the whole thing. I am a "nesting" mom by nature, so I pity the person who ends up with me when she leaves home. Everyone pray for me through these next 4 years, I have a feeling I will need it! Take care and enjoy your summer...I know we will.
