Hello everyone! Since this is my first actual entry, I was unsure what to write about. So I decided to tell you about my recent trip to Cancun, Mexico. I recently got back from a week long trip in paradise. Where the water was crystal blue, the sand was snowy white, and the air was as warm a July summer day.
John and I had a ton of fun layng by the pool, shopping, and deep sea fishing. I can tell you that the fishing trip was one to remember. We went 30-40 minutes out into the ocean and it was ROUGH! We found ourselves in 30 ft. swells and mind you, this was only a 6 person boat. I didn't last long before I found myself getting a little sea sick. (along with many of the others!) But I have attached a picture of my "prize" fish I caught. Needless to say, our excursion was cut short.
Shelbey is now in 8th grade and had an orientation for highschool. Yes...HIGHSCHOOL! I cannot believe my baby is growing up. It seems like just yesterday I was walking her into kindergarten....I know all parents say that but it is so true! It use to be all about Barney, barbies, and crayons.....now it's boys, friends, and phones. Wish me luck with all of that!!

What a lucky girl you are!! I've always wanted to go to Mexico. So good to hear your having fun and enjoying life!

I feel like such a stalker. I saw your link on Jen's Blog and thought I would see what you are up to. I'll keep watching to see how that high school thing works out for you :)
